Cedar shake & tile roof restoration
Since 1987 we’ve cleaned, repaired and treated shake and tile roofs around Tacoma. Most weathered cedar has years of service left in it. Getting those years back is the job.

What we do
A weathered shake roof usually isn’t finished — it’s dirty, mossy, and short a few shakes. We wash the moss and grime off, replace what’s split, and treat the wood so it sheds weather again. Done on time, a restoration can add decades to a cedar roof’s life.

Decks and fences too — same wood, same care. A cedar deck we brought back.

“They’re one of the few remaining specialists in cedar shake roof maintenance in the Pacific Northwest, and it shows. It’s all they do, and they do it exceptionally well.”Anthony Suralta · Google review · September 2025
How a restoration runs
Four steps, and the first one happens before any water is on. Each quote below is a customer describing that step in their own words.
Plants, decks, pools, cars — covered before any water is on. The wash starts after the yard is protected.
“First you see the crew covering everything within 10 feet of the house.”

A careful wash lifts moss and years of grime off cedar and tile without tearing up the surface.
“Guiellrmo and crew just finished the gentle wash and shingle replacement…”

Split, cupped or sun-damaged shakes come out; sound cedar goes in. If we find more damage than the estimate covered, we say so.
“After cleaning, they discovered more damaged shakes than expected… I appreciated their honesty and attention to detail.”

A protective treatment feeds the wood and slows the next round of weather. It's the step that makes the other three last.
“I opted for the premium oil treatment and couldn’t be happier with the results. My roof looks nearly new again.”

Recent work
Finished cedar from three recent jobs. The tone comes from the treatment and the wood itself — something we go over on the estimate.
